Sherrylyn Kathlean Bastian received her early education at Queen’s College, Nassau, Bahamas, from 1981 to 1992 and obtained 7 O’ levels. She attended the College of The Bahamas from 1992 to 1994 where she obtained an Associate’s Degree in History. She continued her studies at the University of Buckingham, England from 1994 to 1996 where she obtained a LLB degree and attended BPP Law School from 1996 to 1997.

She was called to the English Bar in June, 1997 and to The Bahamas Bar in September, 1997.

She commenced her pupillage at the Chambers of Dupuch & Turnquest in October, 1997, where she is now employed as a Partner. 

She is a civic orientated person and is Past Vice-President of the Cancer Society of The Bahamas.
